Special sessions offer a venue for the presentation of topics of special academic, social, or industrial/commercial interest, such as emerging research areas or recent trends in the Digital Earth field. These sessions typically consist of four or five papers focusing on the proposed session subject or unifying theme. Special Session and Workshop proposals must be submitted by May 10, 2015.
How to submit a proposal for a Special Session
Those interested in organizing special sessions, panel discussions, or workshops, are invited to contact Dirk Werle, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee, at .
Proposals should include a title and describe the relevance of the session or workshop, as well as include a preliminary list of titles/presenters/authors. Please limit your proposal to one page and send as an attachment. Please ensure you include your contact information within the proposal.
Notification of approval of Special Session and Workshop proposals will be made by (or before) May 10, 2015.
Abstracts of papers in approved Special Sessions must be submitted by May 10, 2015.
